Tamron has announced the development of its new SP 15-30mm f/2.8 DI VC USD ultra-wide zoom lens. This full-frame lens is the first in its class to offer image stabilization according to Tamron. The lens has an ultrasonic focusing motor, 'eBAND' and fluorine coatings, and a 9-blade diaphragm. The 15-30 is less than 145mm (5.7in.) long and weigh in at roughly 1.1kg (2.4 lbs). The lens will be available for Canon, Nikon, and Sony mounts.
